As of late ive been intrigued by aphantasia, synthesia, savants and the like. They all have interesti g ways of visualizing certain things. Being able to visualize a certain thing with great detail is a tuff task for some but i wonder to what extent coukd a brain be trained to visualize as well as consciously organize data. Lets take math for example. 5 +5 =10 is easy. But is it easier to visualize or represent mentally than say 2+2+1+5=10? Of course it is. So im thinking if i coukd study mental representations and activity when the vrain is visualizing settings sounds and othsr stimuki then lerhaps we coukd come up with better methods to teach. Im a believwr that math can be easier depending on how you cut it up! MYbe “bad students” simply approach this visualixation differently. Or MAY E poor math skills coukd also be proxied by poor visualization? Not entirelt of course but lets see what i find
